Available each year with Spring Flowering bulbs and perennials from February till May
Plant in a cooler position, in clumps, in shady mixed borders, on the south side of deciduous tree or shrubs or in pots ( 3 bulbs to a 150mm pot). They prefer soil not to dry out over summer but need well drained soil enriched with well rotted compost and a complete fertiliser such as Bulbs Direct bulb food. Ideally plant from March to May in to moist soil 8cm deep and 8cm apart. Keep cool with a layer of compost / mulch. Water in thoroughly and maintain soil moisture while growing. Top-dress with a complete fertiliser each autumn as leaves appear.
